Administrative Assistant

Location: Hudson, NH (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $24.00-$25.00/hour (based on experience)

Position Summary

Our client in Hudson, NH is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support project administration, order processing, customer communications, and general office operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys multitasking, and has strong organizational and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare proposals, bid documents, and project-related correspondence
  • Review and process purchase orders and customer requirements
  • Enter and maintain project, order, and customer information in company systems
  • Prepare submittal packages, work orders, and project documentation
  • Communicate with customers regarding orders, project status, and inquiries
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with data entry and reporting
  • Handle walk-in orders and provide general administrative support
  • Sort and distribute mail
  • Provide backup reception coverage as needed

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of administrative or office experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Preferred Experience

  • Construction, manufacturing, engineering, or project-based environment
  • Reviewing digital construction plans or blueprints
